This is an original water color background for use in the Taarna sequence of Heavy Metal. It is in excellent condition, and the water colors are applied directly to a xerox background. These are not the same as the extensive water color backgrounds that were completely done on paper, they are used in the movie and look really nice as a background. It is in excellent condition. I bought this directly from Carl Macek, the author of The Art of Heavy Metal, at SD Comic Con in the early 80s. Check out my other sales for more Heavy Metal art.
