Here I have a very scarce Prov toll officers sword. It is in Photographed in civil war swords by John Thillman. It is in Vg shape with most of the original leather and the correct 3 strand wire. The blade has shine with a few dark spots, but no pitting. It has not been sharpened. The original scabbard is also fine shape with no pitting and some shine. It is very very hard to find a cav officers sword, and to fine one by the scarcest maker of all 1860 cavs is a double find.
