Selling an original WW2 vintage army backpack. This is a vintage military back pack and comes in nice condition with the US markings. There is a hole in the flap beside the canteen and some water stains to the canvas material in places from use but was in the war and used, so has some use wear. Nice large backpack with large U.S. markings on flap of back pack and on the canteen cover. Backpack is marked on back; Langdon Tent & Awning Co. 1942. Also has a number written in pen and athe owners name youcan kind of make out yet.Canteen has the bottom dish or bowl with it also, nice shape with cover that still has the makers markings on the backside. Inside is the mess kit that has surface wear and some corrosion from being in a garage for years. Is marked; U.S. Leyse 1942. Inside is discolored, probably would clean up nicely though. Also comes with a fork and spoon. Fork is marked US but spoon is not from this kit. Also inside are some rare wood sandals. These were used I believe to shower so you wouldn\'t have to walk on the ground and mud. REally nice shape with nice canvas strap for around the heel and the top of foot, bottom shows use wear so they were worn in the war.Also marked but can\'t make out last name. Rarely see the vintage army sandals, so a nice rare military item. Great vintage WW2 era backpack and contents, email any questions.
