This engine has factory 4V intake and dual exhaust with quadrajet carb. No air cleaner. The one in the picture is in a 66 ElCamino with a 2:41 rear end and a Borg Warner T5 with 38% overdrive and gets 39 MPG highway only, in summer, with the windows rolled up and tail gate down. I have evaporative coolers built into the floor vents. Factory in a Firebird they did 85 Mph and 17.1 sec. Mine is bored and stroked to 269 cubes and has Cheve long tube headers, aluminum 10.5 pound flywheel, aluminum drive line, and is assembled with aluminum nuts, bolts,washers and all thread.
