Made in the USA here in our shop, is our popularCORDURA®Nylonlumber tarps, made from 100% military grade coated CORDURA® Nylon 1000 denier material.This is a custom madelumber tarp set with2 rows of D-Rings (4 rows total) located at3\' and 6\'from the edge on each long side.Schematic diagram above shows the tarp dimensions, and the second picture shows a similar sized tarp in Black.CORDURA® is an extremely expensive material, but we purchase it in a surplus fashion thousands and thousands of yards at time to get the price down. From a quality standpoint, this is the strongestCordura material we provide.All seams, hems, and stitching is done with the strongest and thickest thread available, and with an intermittent programable back-tack (reverse stitch) every several inches for unmatched quality and strength.

This tarp will have reinforced webbing on the hem, as you can see from a sample picture above.
There is a slight savings if you don\'t get the webbing hem (and instead get the folded-over standard stitched hem), which saves some weight too.

Color: In general, you will receive a matching color tarp. The nature of our business - meaning we purchase the expensive Cordura in a surplus fashion (as far as colors go, not quality) - means that there will be variations in panel to panel with color shades. Colors can be neutral earth tones (olive, tan, brown, gray), black, or even military camouflage patterns. In many cases, the middles may be a different color from the sides (an example would be olive middles, with black sides), or any combination of the above. If you are concerned with colors, please make sure to contact us prior. Most of our repeat customers who are familiar with our great workmanship, quality, and in general how our niche manufacturing business works, simply ask \"just make it out of the best material you\'ve got, just nothing crazy fluorescent or too bright\".
Flatbedders love Cordura tarps because of their tear resistance, wear resistance, light weight, softness, and ease to work with in the cold. Cordura is a high strength material with a greater tear resistance than 18 oz vinyl. It has a weatherproof coating on the inside surface, and the outside surface is has a water repellent treatment applied to it at the factory. The material has a very slight breathability characteristic to it. It is not a weldable material, and the craftsmanship and stitching construction take much more time and technical detail than the heavy and cheap vinyl tarps in the market. Items such as very high end mountain back packs, ski bags, law enforcement and tactical gear, and other mountaineering equipment use Cordura in their products.
