This is a Pair of Vintage Coral BX-1500 6 Way, 7 Driver speakers. The BX-1500s were their top of the line. They were mainly distributed in Japan and Asia, not officially distributed in the US. They are in beautiful original and working condition. Each speaker weighs 72 lbs and measures 28x20x15.5\"s, 8 ohms, 150 watts, very very efficient. Each speaker has a 15\" woofer, 6.5\" mid, 5\" mid and large horn mid, 2 2\" horn tweeters. They have mid and high frequency contours. They also can be driven full range(1 stereo amp), Biamplified(2 stereo amps), Triamplified(3 stereo amps). They were quality made and designed in Japan, quality 1970s build quality, design, attention to detail and sound. They are nice cosmetically, some scuffs and small scratches on the bottoms from being moved around, and a couple of nicks. They are beautiful real walnut or walnut finish cabinets, very nice condition. Each cabinet measures approximately 27\" tall by 20\" wide by 15\" deep. You can use them as tables for displaying items on top at home, too. They are efficient, open, detailed, dynamic, extended, clear, natural, smooth and musical. Local pickup only. These are about 72 pounds each and are available for local pickup only! ATTENTION EVERYONE - I have noticed many are looking, but not offerding. Does anyone know of how these can be shipped without it costing a lot? I really need to sell, but nobody is offerding due to weight and size. Thanks. Someone was kind enough to mention that Greyhound might be a less expensive way to go. I am not sure how that works, but if you find out, and are interested in shipping that way, contact me to discuss the feasibility beforehand.If there is a way you can send a shipper to pick them up and pack them, that would work for me, but you would have to pay for the shipping and packing. I think now offers such a service, but I do not yet understand how they can estimate shipping if they do not know where they are going to. Please let me know.
