Up for sale is a very uncommon item that I have never seen before. It appears to be an attachment for recording/cutting your own 78 RPM records. It is called a PATHE\' VOICE RECORDER, Made by the PATHE\' PHONOGRAPH & RADIO CORPORATION, 20 GRAND AVE., BROOKLYN, N.Y. Most of the brackets are made of cast iron and the horns is thin steel. I\'m not sure what it mounts to in order to record the records or what it uses for a cutting stylus or even what the records look like that it records onto, There is a paper sticker inside the horn that says: \"SPEAK INTO HORN LOUDLY, CLEARLY\" That paper is still intact. This mechanism is 12\" long and the horn opening is 3\" in diameter. It\'s definately an unusual and interesting collectible! There\'s after a very reasonable starting offer, so offer away if you want to own it.
