The was the last BMX bike that I raced in the early 1980\'s. The bike is all original minus the wheels, A\'me grips and Zeronine number plate. I\'ve had the bike stored in my basement and garage these past 32 years. This past summer I took everything apart and cleaned and polished them. All the bearings have been re-greased, this thing is ready to go. I had original A\'me Tri grips on this but they disintegrated after all these years. The bike is set up exactly as I raced it except for the wheels. The original graphite Z rims and original Comp 3 tires are listed in another sale. I installed new 50th anniversary graphite Skyway Tuff Wheels and re-issue yellow label Comp 3 tires. The frame and fork is a 1983 model, most of the components were purchased between 1981 and 1982. This was my third Patterson. What makes this frame and fork a little more special is that I purchased them from none other than Patterson Factory rider Richie Anderson. I had the pleasure of getting to know him for a few weeks in the summer of \'83. He was getting new equipment for the upcoming National and sold me his old frame set. I have included a copy of the local paper which shows him on this frame and fork. Also included in this sale are original Patterson pads (still with the original packaging!) and extra set of original decals and Patterson Brochure. I am also including 3 extra chainrings to complete the sale.
