This isa lovelyteapotdesigned by the Paul Cardew Studio from their pottery in Devon, England.
It features a fantastic design which depicts an authors desk who is inthe process of producing a murder mystery novel. The lid takes the form of an imperialtypewriter with the first page of 'Murder At The Grange'.
The Cardew pottery closed in 2008 and as a result these teapots are becoming very desirable on the open market.
It is a limited edition piece of just 3000 of which this is number 420 and is modelled in exquisite detail.
It isa first quality piece and is in excellent conditionwith no chips, cracks, or restoration. There is a small amount of crazing to the piece but this does not significantly affect the display and is only mentioned for accuracy of description.
