Pianoforte built by John Broadwood of London in about 1825, Coffin Case style, 101 inches in length and 63 inches wide. Case of solid light Brazilian rosewood, supported by 3 carved legs, Case has 2 adjustable candelabra shelves and a wide music rack at keyboard end, with 50 white keys and 35 black keys. Soundboard controlled by a lyre with 2 wooden pedals. The instrument needs some repair including to the soundboard,the sections are separated slightly and is repairable according to a qualified specialist piano repair company. The instrument has been previously refinished and is physically in good aesthetic condition.
