For your consideration, I am offering this antique, c1880, large, oval Polychrome decorated Aesthetic Movement Platter manufactured by the Pinder Bourne Porcelain Factory.. Burslem, England...

Front design depicts shades of browns with assorted colors of black, rust, yellow on white in a floral geometric design with one areas having a serene pair of Swans floating in waters...Painted brown trim edging ...

Double back stamp on underside in brown represents the date as August 4, 1880 when manufactured.. The impressed Burslem mark in center with Pinder & Bourne on top and bottom with B=81.. Plus in green ink #\'s 10597 closer to edge..

Approximate measurements are 15.25 inches length by 12.5 inches width with 2 inch border rim, 1 3/8 inches height..

Light signs of previous use should be expected consistent with its previous ownership and antique age....free of chips, cracks, stains, restoration or hairlines, Slight utensil surface marks to the glaze topside and underside ..Some spots of paint wear along the brown trim..Any other imperfections seem to be craft related...All was mentioned for accuracy...Beautiful condition with age and previous ownership...
