Platycerium superbum is native to the lowland rain forests of Eastern Australia. It is an epiphyte, and should be mounted as soon as possible. Provide bright light, but avoid direct sun in southern states. Appreciates humidity and air movement. Do not over water. Over watering can cause rot. Slow growing, but can reach impressive sizes. This platycerium does not root from cutting or by pupping.

Please be aware that some slight damage (a few broken leaves, some wilting, dropped blooms, some soil out of pot) is possible during shipping, and we will not refund orders under these circumstances. Please check with us if you are unsure if your plant would qualify for the DOA guarantee.
SHIPPING
We combine shipping for multiple plants and sales. There is no handling charge per item, but the increased weight may increase your shipping charges (usually by a very small amount). Please note that with multiple plant purchases, the rate that quotes you will often become exaggerated. Please use the \"Request Total From Seller\" option if you are purchasing multiple plants and we will provide you with a corrected invoice.
We normally ship Monday through Wednesday to avoid weekend shipping delays, though we may make exceptions upon request.
Heat packs are available for an additional $1.50 in cold weather. If your weather is below 40 degrees, and you do not add a heat pack, we will not honor the live arrival guarantee.
OUR PLANTS
All of our plants are grown in Florida and are in excellent health. We grow many of our plants in house, but those that we purchase from other nurseries are hand selected by us to insure the highest quality possible. None of our plants are collected from the wild.
