All you need to do is tie the rope to the object needing to be pulled, then wind the rope around the capstan drum 3-4 times. As long as the engine keeps running, the capstan drum will always turn.
Lightweight weighing only 35 lbs., the winch is easily carried and allows access into areas where most other types of machinery are just too awkward to fit in and manuever. The included 6\' polyester sling allows for the winch to be fastened to an anchor point.
