POSTWAR LIONEL 3330 FLAT CAR WITH U.S. NAVY OPERATING SUBMARINE KIT in ORIGINAL BOX

LOT DESCRIPTION: As the title says this lot consists of the hard to find (at least had to find unassembled) POSTWAR LIONEL 3330 FLAT CAR WITH U.S. NAVY OPERATING SUBMARINE KIT. Set is basically the same as the 3830 Flat Car with Operating Submarine but in this case it is a kit, you put together the sub and it goes on the special numbered 3330 flat car. Flat has the automatic couplers and is all original Postwar Lionel including the original submarine and all parts of the sub are original. Also included is the original box, it still has the punch out paned but most of the end flaps are either missing or have been taped back onto the box.

DESCRIPTION OF CONDITION: Car and sub are in C-8 Like New Condition. The sub has never been assembled, the parts are still sealed in the plastic bag just as they came from the factory. A most unusual find. Again, a great looking and hard to find set that again, IMHO I would rate as in C-8, like new condition but take a good look at the pictures and you be the judge.
