Up for sale is a Snap pot belly an antique stove made by Columbus Iron Works, Columbus Georgia, founded about 1850. I had an affiliate of the “Antique Road Show” research and provide the history and estimate of value prior to this listing.

The Stove was produced by the Columbus Iron Works, Columbus Georgia, founded about 1850. The Stove is a Jove, they are called Laundry stoves, used in heating sad irons in order to iron clothes. Later they were used to heat small rooms. It has an estimated value on the current market for an average of $500.00-600.00 depending on the condition and where it is for sale at. Markings on the stove are Columbus, No 14, JOVE.

The condition is considered “good” and the stove should be restored or it can be used as is.

Shipping and Location: This is a family estate sale. The stove is currently located in Live Oak Florida and I live in Tampa, FL. I will not ship this item. It can be picked up by appointment in Tampa or Live Oak or I can deliver within a 100 mile radius of ether Live Oak or Tampa for a per mile fee round trip. I will be in Live Oak 9/12 thru 9/18.
