Very good condition and guaranteed original pre WWI ImperialGerman Prussian Model 1811 cavalry sword. Dated 1831 on the blade spine andunit marked “5.T.P.3.1.” on the left side of the guard for issue to a SupplyColumn Attached to a Service Corp Detachment. Massive 32 ½” blade has niceoriginal bright metal finish with a little scattered gray. Remaining metalfinish is brown and gray. Grip shows some normal wear and handling marks.Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that has mixed bright, gray, andbrown metal finish with a few dents. Unit marked “A.M.VII.2.29.” near thethroat for issue to an Artillery Munitions Column of VII Army Corps. Also hastwo other cancelled artillery unit marked. A rare, massive German cavalry swordthat will make an excellent addition to your collection.
