PRE-WORLD WAR I OR WORLD WAR I GERMAN RESERVIST SOUVENIR CANTEEN
I\'ve been told several stories about this canteen from several different sources,
so I am only relaying what I\'ve been told and cannot guarantee the exact era of this item...
1. Some refer to it as a souvenir canteen that would have been purchased by an artillary soldier after
doing his 2 years of service and returning to German civilian life as a reservist.
1. Some have indicated similar items have come from German imperial times under Kaiser Wilhelm from
about 1895 to prior to WWI in 1913.
