~Delightful Antique Quilt~

Primitive c1900 Antique \"RAIL FENCE\" quilt. This is a wonderful heirloom piece hand made of very rich silks, brocades and velvets. This lovely gem is entirely hand pieced and hand tied with strips of yellow silk, the backing is a blue gray silk. The placement of the light and dark fabrics makes this a real show stopper! This quilt for its age is in real nice condition there are no spots, stains or holes, there are several strips of fabric that is breaking down or showing wear, the binding is entirely shattered and needs to be replaced (as shown), there are a couple pinhead holes in the backing fabric. This does not detract from the beauty of this gem.
