This primitive antique blanket chest with old gray paint measures 33\" wide x 15.5\" deep x 16\" . high. On the bottom side it has a small leather band for securing a secret something--key, money? Take a close look at the pictures to see the wear on the wood from use. Both ends, the front, back, and bottom are made from one board and the top is made from three tongue and goove boards. I included a picture or two to show a crack at the end of one of the top boards but it is holding well. This is a very serviceable piece for storage or coffee table.
