This is an extremely unique vintage milk bottle, in exceptional condition. It has not one, but two different images of children playing, one on each side, in rich black pyroglazing in mint condition. The children are dressed in vintage clothing. One side has a boy, girl and a dog, with its face in a milk pail, and the other has two little girls and a boy who is running with a milk bottle. The first side also has \"Milk for Health\" in black poly glaze under the image of the children, and the second has \"Milk for Health Contents Pasteurized for Safety\" under the image. The bottle has \"ONE QUART LIQUID\" molded on the glass on one side. Above it, also molded in the glass, is a triangle with the number 48 on top, then a line, and MINN, indicating the milk was sold in Minnesota. On the bottom of the bottle are a number of molded markings, including the Owens-Illinois logo of a triangle with the letter \"I\" in a circle, the phrase \"Patented Nov. 22, 1927,\" and a patent number. The Owens-Illinois logo has the number \"18\" to its left, for the Owens factory in Columbus, Ohio, and to the right of the logo, the number \"5,\" for the year 1935. There is also a large letter \"S\" on the bottom; I do not know what that means. It is a very different and exceptional milk bottle with beautiful graphics. NOTE: The bottle is clear. It is filled with milk to best show the graphics. It does not have a dairy name.
