Hello and thanks for looking. I have for sale one(1) vintage Drake MN-2000 antenna tuner. I have had this beauty in my collection for some time now, but stinking bills are forcing me to offer it for sale. Regardless, my loss can be your gain! This antenna tuner is built like a Freaking tank and weighs almost as much as my 1974 Cadillac! It's pretty too and will match almost all the ham equipment out there from the 1950's through the 1990's. Not to say it can't do a good job with the newer stuff, it just looks more at home with boatanchors:) Everything works as it should and there are only a few slight scuffs here and there. I am a ham operator myself and this has been a valued piece on my desk for a long time. It looked good on my desk, but may look better on yours. Any further questions or comments please feel free to ask. Shipping will be set at 22 dollars via UPS ground service. this is a heavy item or I could get a better deal for 'ya. I pack my items well and when you use Paypal I can usually get items shipped within 24 hours. Please read the additional info I got off the net for this fantastic old tuner and remember this is a sale and offerding starts at ONE RED CENT!!! USA buyers/shipping only please...
The Drake MN-2000 matching network matches 50 ohm transmitter
output to coax antenna feeding with VSWR of at least 5:1. Power capacity
is 1000 watts average continuous duty or 2000 watts PEP. It features a VSWR meter
with a 200 watt and 2000 watt scale (5% accurate). The antenna switch
selects either of two antennas to be matched by the MN-2000. In the Direct 1 and Direct 2 positions, the tuning network is removed. The rear panel features SO-239 jacks for input and output. 10.75 x 5.5 x 14.375 inches.
An antenna dummy load must be connected to the MN-2000 before energizing
the transmitter to avoid damage to the MN-2000. MN-2000 tuning should
be done with low power whenever possible.
The MN-2000 matches the TR-4 series.
Happy offerding:)
