For your consideration: A stunning and hard to find Noritake of Japan Art Deco hand painted lusterware plate featuring a beguiling young woman in a fabulous frock! Circa late 1920s. It is marked with the green Noritake M wreath mark. It measures 7 3/4 inches in diameter.
Plate features the colors of blue and peach luster with black trim. The lady's dress is in vibrant orange with green and black flowers and black polka dots. The straps to her dress are ruffled and in the same green. She has large eyes with long lashes and she has a slight blush to her cheeks. She wears a rose in her hair.
Plate is in good condition for age with no chips or cracks. It does have some wear to the decoration commensurate with age. Please see my pictures. This is a rare beauty, and a perfect addition to your Noritake or Art Deco collection!
