This is an awesome vintage Wrangler Blue Bell advertising rodeo clown outfit. A piece of tape on the Police Brace suspenders has the name Dick Spencer. He is the Colorado cowboy who wore these. The pants and shirt have embroidered lettering and a total of 4 Blue Bell patches. The pants are in great shape. They have some moderate soiling and light wear but no damage. I don't think they have been washed. The shirt has some damage at the shoulder and front as well as some fairly heavy soiling that can be seen in the photos. Some information on Dick Spencer. In WWII he was a decorated member of the the 517th Parachute Combat Team and designed the logo for the Battling Buzzards. He pursued a journalism career after the war and in 1969 became the editor for Western Horseman Magazine. He passed away in 1989. The September 1989 issue of Western Horseman features an article about his life. He was quite a guy. I tried to create some clickable links but had no luck. I hope this is helpful. Thanks
