LED Meter is bright and shows transmit power and receive signal strength.This radio was made in Taiwan which infers older better quality than today\'s radios.There is only one qwerk with the radio you probably won\'t mind; after transmitting SSB and letting off the key, there is an ever so slight delay in turning around to receive. Otherwise the radio is fully functional. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, you can return the radio for a full refund but you must pay return shipping.
