I bought this a few weeks ago and my local PD is using a new type of protocol for there radio\'s all other systems work but needing to hear local traffic so I\'m selling this I have only had it a week it has been reset to factory specs so when you turn it on it will start fresh as it did new out of the box. Its a great scanner great sound easy to program just go to utube and look it up all step by step to get you started also do a local frequency search for your area in your PC search window and your loacal county too. I only ship to the lower 48 states
