Very Rare 1964 (9606) Corvette only Muncie 4 Speed M20 Wide Ratio dated P08-08aug 8,1964 (muncies were made the year before for the following year car ) this was sold as a optionunder the M20. They came in 2 versions close ratio and wide ratio both sold under M20. This wide ratiowas for the lower Hp motors 300 HP and lower and with the higher gear ratios like 3:08-3:55. This is 10spline input and 27 spline output.This is not a 100% correct transmission but with a few things it can be.The tail shaft,side cover and shifter shafts is all it takes to make this 100% correct. The gears in thistransmission are like brand new. All the seals,bearings,small parts,synchros ,1st gear bushing,french locksfront nut have been replaced.The 9606 cases are super rare because they didn\'t make that many in the 1year only case.
