You rarely see these come up for sale. High end quality Superstrat! Built in limited quantities back in the late 1980\'s, this USA model comes in a rare Gold/Silver (changes color).

This guitar is one of the best superstrats we\'ve received in a long time. Assembled in the New York, NYESP Shop in 1987, these ESP Mirage Deluxes were made in Limited quantities when ESP was trying to establish themselves in the USA (see low USA serial number).Incredibly well built superstrat, from its Gold/Silver uniquepaint job, to the hot ESP pickups, ESP locking tremolo system, its fast thin flat neck with jumbo frets, this thing is a shredders dream.

This one was kept in a smoke-free home and well taken casre of. The overall condition for being 30 years old is a very clean and shiny8 on 10. See pics above for close-ups. Has a couple small body paint chips, a small chip on headstock tip, the typical neck pocket lacquer check linein the paint, some fret pitting on the first 10 frets (a fret dressing would clean them up nicely), back of neck has some dark marks I assume from sweat from playing. The neck plays beautifully and has that light RELIC look and feel with a great broken-in feeling (she\'s slim and fast). Setup with 010 strings.

Plugged in is where this monster really shines. The hot ESP pickups ROAR to life.... . Hard to put this one down. This is a $2000 plus guitar all day long... Also comes with its ESP hardcase (7.5 on 10 with lots of scuff marks) and the ESP case candy shown.
