Rare find !

Adjustable in width from 36\" - 44\" These are heavy pieces, the real deal. The two figuralgriffins/gargoyles standing guard style ends are a great accent to any home and adjust to the width of the fire place.

Not sure on the age of this item. Was toldmid 19 C.RARE find with great patina. I have not been able to find another example exactly like this.Please take alook at the pics and determine for yourself the quality of this piece.Appears to be constructed of brass or bronze except for the rods that hold the three pieces together which have some surface rust on them. The figure on the left has a bend in thewing tip. I could find no markings on this piece. Look at the detail on the figures !
