The patina is still intact on this rare antique Reed & Barton silver plate 1869-1875 lions head teapot. It has a couple of tiny dents or dimples and scratches, but for its age it looks great! Lid has a lady playing the lyre and there are lions heads on the upper portion of the leg \"supports\" and on the handle and the lower leg has a face. Etched with ivy leaves on the body it has an overall Asian look.

Approx 9 1/4\" to 9 1/2\" tall - from top of lady to bottom of foot. 

Approx 9 1/4\" wide from tip of spout to handle. And probably holds 4 cups. I\'ve owned and appreciated it for almost 30 years and it\'s time to let someone else enjoy it.
