Measuring about 7 3/4\" Long, by about 2 1/8\" Wide, by almost 1\" in Thickness, This is an Original, Antique Cast-Iron Druggist-Bottle Embossing \"Slug-Plate\". It was Used at the Whitall-Tatum Glass mfg. Company, of Millville, N.J. about 1880-1910. The \"Embossing Mold-Slug-Plates, were used in the Blowing-Manufacture of Apothecary / Druggist Bottles, that were made for individual drug-stores, all over the United States, and for Stores in many other Nations. This Actual Glass-Factory \"Relic\" was acquired, in a group of Such Glass-Works Tools, and equipment, that were still, in storage, at the location of the Old Site of the Whitall-Tatum Glass Company, in Millville, NJ., back in the 1970[s. The greater part of the Mold Slug-Plates that I had the opportunity to acquire, were found with English Incised Lettering, and had U.S.A. City Druggist Addresses on the Sides, but there were some Slug-Plates that were found with Spanish Letters on the Sides. This Slug-Plate is Incised with the following Lettering: \"AGUA COLONIA / MI PRIMA\" The Words are Spanish for \"Cologne Water~My Cousin\" I do not know if the second part of the letters signify the name of a given druggist. It was, no doubt, made for a South American Drug-Store, I am guessing. CONDITION: The Metal Slug-Plates are in
