Rare and wonderful, 22\" long, all cloth boudoir or bed doll by Blossom Doll Company, New York, c.1930. Originally dressed as \"Shirley Temple\", she has a lovely, child-like, cotton sateen, swivel head with chubby features including painted, side-glancing eyes with distinctive white high-lites and good detail and charming, long inset, real eyelashes as well as mauve pink, eyeshadow andwell painted eyebrowsand exquisitely paintedand outlined lips with dividing line and cheek blush. Her thick blond wig is hand stitched in thick curls all around her head and her all cloth body is stitched-jointed at the shoulders and hips with individually stitched fingers, slightly shaped knees with pink blush and shaped feet. She wears what appears to be her original, French blue, ruffled organdy, party-type dress with 3/4 sleeves over a wonderful peachslip with attached, wide bloomers, blue bow in hair and replaced socks and shoes. She is in excellent condition with no damages, no tears or stains, no fading or dust, no repairs and no odors as she is from a smoke free home.Boudoir dolls in last two photos are not included and will each be listed separately.

These Art Deco dolls were often used to decorate a bed or boudoir chair and were \"quite the rage\" during the 30s and 40s. Most were discarded long ago.
