Extremley Rare and Unusual Mayonassise Mixerfrom, S & S Hutchinson . AntiqueGlass and Cast iron Mixer Mounted on Covered Pattern Glass Bowl with Mixing Drain.Both Mixer and Glass Bowl are marked. The Beater works freely and is marked \"S & S\", alongwith \"Hutchinson, New York, Pat. Appl. For\". The Base of the Bowl isEmbossed with \"S & S\" Trade Mark, Patent Pending, 854 VernonAve., Long Island City, N.Y. The lid has a straightline crack eminating from the lid screw…no separation or sharpness... not detectable to the touch…still verysolid lid. No chips or cracks on thebottom, just a bit of rim roughness (to be expected with age).The base of this mixer is 7\" in diameter, and 4\" high. The overall height of the beater is about 9 1/2\".
