Up for sale is a complete, hard to find, reproduction French Bru. The beautiful Lady Grace is a Victorian life sized porcelain/bisque doll mannequin. She stands about 5 feet tall. Her adult sized swivel head, shoulders, bust, hands and arms up to elbow, are made of porcelain/bisque. The rest of her is stuffed cloth fabric. Her hair is long dark blonde curly human hair attached to her head. Her bust is about 30 inches, with a waist of 24 inches. Grace fits the usually small vintage clothing well. It is hard to find a mannequin that fits the really tiny Victorian dresses bigger/taller mannequins cannot wear. She has almond-shaped blue glass inset eyes. She is made to either sit or stand. Someone has made a stand for her at one time. It is a very heavy piece of crude wood with a rod that goes into her butt. The stand is too heavy to ship, so I am not including it in this sale. I will, however, give it to the new owner, if they are able to pick Grace up. Anyone can easily make her a stand, with readily available parts from any Lowe's or Home Depot. The antique yellow Victorian dress is INCLUDED in the sale, nothing else. The doll/mannequin is in excellent shape, no observed chips, cracks, or breaks. She was originally made by Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1870's. The model was created for a couturier or milliner in a Parisian boutique for presentation of the latest fashions of the day. She will be packed very well, and will require insurance. Please allow a few days for shipping info to be posted to this page, as I am custom cutting a box, just for her. Will post dimensions and weight. Also, to keep the page load time down, I am listing several photos as links...please view them for your satisfaction.
