You are offerding on a forest service Coleman model 427 lantern dated 2-35. Extremely hard version of the 427 to find. These were special order lanterns that were embossed USFS by Coleman on the fount in big letters. This one runs just fine as you can see in the picture. I let it run for about 2 hours and it did not miss a beat. The fount has one small dent and a couple of other dings below the valve wheel. Still has enough of the original red paint left to give it character. The original mica globe is old and rusty but is in very good condition. Does not have even one hole in any of the mica panels. The vent is real nice too with not too much chipping. Every collector I know wants one of these in his collection. Here is your chance to get yours. They do not come along often.
