I purchased/traded for this knife from a collector friend of mine. I also got two others from him that I have listed. From what I can find on line this knife looks like one of two makers, T. A. Potts Or Cook & Brother. Search for Confederate bowie bayonet.This looks to be a combination Bowie knife and a bayonet. I think some of these were made without the rings. I believe the handle may be rose wood. Rings look like brass. I am no expert on this knife so please research and judge for yourself.
