Offered for your consideration from my private collection is very rare, 1990\'s Tele-style, Gold-foil Hellcaster like the one Will Ray played in the famous guitar trio. It features a 22 fret rosewood neck with custom inlays, Schaller locking tuners, 2 Seymour Duncan specially designed reverse-wound Jazzmaster pickups, custom wired 4-way pickup selector (neck, neck/bridge series, neck/bridge parallel, bridge). Vintage-style volume knob with dual concentric rings on the tone control for separate control of each pickup. Grounded brass internal shielding for extra-quiet performance. Comes with its original case and all the hardware, wrenches, etc.These were produced by the Fender custom shop in Japan as these three smoking-hot players toured and recorded and generated a tidal wave as their Jazz/Rock-a-Billy/Blues music left its mark on the guitar world. Each of the three players had their playing style and their own custom designed instrument. This is the only one with a B-string bender built-in because Will Ray was the one who really knew how to use it!
