Offered for your consideration is a RARE and Hard To Find Antique German Male Boudoir Doll. He measures 24\" tall and is a Smoker Doll and Musical with a key. He has such a character face. Dome head with hand painted facial features. His eyes are side glancing with such expression. Red inner dotted eyes and nostrils. Open mouth with painted upper teeth with a cigarette off to one side of his mouth. Blushed cheeks. His face looks like it was painted yesterday. He is wearing a green silk hat with applied fruits on one side of the hat. There is fraying as it is very old. His body is made of cloth with beige velvet arms and hands. The torso area is made of wood where the musical box is. His 2 piece silk outfit is green with fading over the years. There is lace ruffle around the neck and bottom of each of the sleeves. Two white pompoms down the center of the top. The bottom of his pants are white silk. There are knee high socks sewn on to his legs. Fabulous high heeled black oil cloth shoes with white pompoms on the top of each of the shoes. He is missing the right heel. His shoe is stamped GERMANY on the sole. There is a gorgeous mandolin in his hands. There are 4 strings with a hand painted pink rose in the center of the instrument. The instrument appears to be made of papiermache. There is a key attached to a piece of silk on his back. When you windhim up, he plays MUSS I DENN or in English WOODEN HEART. You can see the lyrics on line if you google Elvis Presley with either of the names.He is a RARE FIND with all the unique things he has going on. I have looked several years on and never saw anything close to him.
