This rich and stately cuckoo clock has endured and survived over 100 years of service gracefully. It\'s deep dark, almost ebony color case, is magnificent to the eyes and one of the most gorgeous ClockZ I have seen in a while. There just has to be an untold history behind this clock besides it\'s rarity an uniqueness! I do not see any breaks or repairs done to the all wood, case of this clock. The wood Roman numerals have been put on to replace the ripped paper dial that was on the clock. The hands are definitely bone and the cuckoo bird is wood. The trapezoid bellows have been reconstructed and the original, German made, 1-Day movement has been cleaned and oiled. The clock measures 17\" x 14\" x 7\" and the 7\" weights weight about 2.5 pounds. This beautiful time piece is complete, running and keeping time. Examine the photos and watch the video to see this superb clock in action, you might never see another one. Set up instructions are included but due to postal handling some adjustments may have to be made upon arrival. I will pay the cost of insurance for this package.
