these are very rare , this was a bring back piece . I have only had one of these that was aluminum , I do have another that is made from teak wood . the NVA or VC made there own grenades in jungle factory,s through out South East Asia . this one is made from downed aircraft aluminum .. this is from my personal collection at LKmiltiary.com , I have owned this for over 35 years . you can find these every so often in US pictures of captured weapons in Vietnam .lkmilitary.com
