Rare 19th Century French Gothic Revival Giltwood Bird\'s-Eye Marble Harp
Sebastien Erard, 13, rue du Mail, Paris Gothic Harp Maple and Gold I believe c1781 to late 1800\'s. Sebastian Erard was the harpmaker in Paris who designed the double action system for the harp which is found with minor variations in all modern harps. Signed/Inscribed/Dated: Evans, Facteur de Pianos et Harpes 13, rue du Mail, Paris - Erard PAR BREVET D\' INVENTION and numbered 2236Condition: If you want to play this harp the sound board and strings will have to be fixed. Some of the gold is missing and a few of the detail pieces are missing but overall a beautiful piece. If you want it as a display piece it is just stunning! Please see all pictures as part of the description.This harp comes with its original wooden crate....which is very rare to have.This item is pick up only. I live in mid west Ohio and you can make shipping arrangements with ups ground or you may pick up the harp in person.The Harp and wooden crate came from an old estate sale.... The Nipperts are a very wealthy family who once owned the Cincinnati Reds baseball team and were descendents of the Gamble family of \"Procter & Gamble\"
