The only issues with this fine old American Classic appear to becosmetic in nature due to substantial brassing on the top plate. If I were keeping it, I would just give it a coat of Krylon Satin and it would look like new. It is working and sounding just fine with no hum or noise of any kind. The faceplate looks like engraved copper and it is in excellent condition. This would make a very nice amp for those who work with old 78\'s as it has not only a Phono EQ Switch that selects Foreign, AES, LP positions and more,but a Phono Load selector as well that adjusts to 6.8K, 15K, 27K, 47K, 75K and 100K. Some of those positions are hard to read because of the brassing but there are excellent close-up photos at the Radio Museum site that shows all of them clearly. The power cord does look a little tired and the buyer might want to replace it. The AA-903 uses 2 - Smoked Glass 6V6GT\'s, 2- 12AX7\'s, 1 - 12AU7, 1- 6C4 and a 5Y3GT rectifier. We pack very, very well using heavy duty, double walled shipping containers with the amplifier heavily shrink-wrapped with heavy duty corner protectors in place.
