This is a rare estate find from the very old and historic community of Seacliff, NY.
It is a beautiful Abercrombie & Fitch poker set.
Abercrombie & Fitch has been around for over a century. Around 1905, they changed their name to Abercrombie & Fitch Co., so I believe that this game set was made after that. The case is a beautiful painted wood with a lovely painted illustration of men fox hunting on the lid.
It does have wear which is consistent with age. Inside the box are the four racks containing what I believe to be clay chips.
The cards are not present.
The wood box measures 10\"x9.5\"x5.5\"
The key is also not present
The box and chips are heavy, and will be packed accordingly for safe shipment
This is a one of a kind item, as I have not seen anything in my research that even resembles this set.
