Heathkit AR-17 receiver Is in good overall vintage condition but is being sold as is for parts or repair The unit shows normal wear and tear for its age with some scuff scratch marks looking at the wood cabinet on the bottom the wood is starting to split where the screws go in there are some chips on the corners see photos looking at the front of the radio the clear plastic display screen was loose so I put some foam Strips on each side to hold it in place I’m not sure what held it in there originally it’s not a permanent fix as the foam strips i used are a little too big and would need to be trimmed down and glued into place also the lightbulbs on the front do not come on probably just bad lightbulbs but I’m not sure. Plugging the radio in connecting it to speakers and turning it on nothing happened i used a signal tracer and was able to get low audio from the speaker connectors on the back and I was able to tune in different stations looking inside it looks like some of the caps maybe bad but I am not sure what the problem could be this is being sold as is for parts or repair please use ’s zoom feature to see the pictures for more details if you need more pictures or have any questions just ask
