EXCELLENT ANTIQUEÂ SURVEYORS COMPASS WITH CLINOMETER VANE
The compass is in working order with nice silvered face, locking button on the side, jeweled bearing, blued needle and wonderful brass clinometer hand.
It was made in France in late 1800 early 1900 most likely by well known compass maker Houlliot
The body of compass is made from brass with chrome or nickel cover.
The compass is in good condition with a nice patina with some wear and tear due to the age. The silvered face has some spots oxidation (please check out relevant pictures)
The case is measuring approximately 70mm diameter and 15mm depth.
