This is a rare WWII K98 German bayonet with scabbard with serial numbers that do not match on both sides. There has been some sharpening to the blade as has been clearly shown in the photos provided. Serial numbers on one side of the blade and scabbard do match 3715 with a U underneath. The other side has the number 44asw on the scabbard and 43asw on the blade.
