This unit came from a recent gov\'t surplus sale. I have tested it, and it plays VCR tape fine, fast forward and rewind buttons work fine. The DVD side wont recognize a dvd installed. I can hear it spinning but it wont play dvd on the tv. It has handling dings and scratchesall over the top side.
