Here is something you don't see everyday. Revell was the premiere company in the 1960s for model kits of real spacecraft then being flown by NASA into orbit. Of the kits they did, the 1/24 Gemini is considered to be the top of the lot. Many a Gemini was built back in the day by modelers of all ages. The parts of the kit were also used as greeblie bits for many science fiction TV shows and movies that required special effects work, such as Space:1999 and Star Wars. Details abound in this kit as it has opening hatches, removeable crew figures, and seperateable service modules. Amodeler could practically simulate a whole Gemini mission with one of these from launch to recovery (you would have to supply your own Titan II booster though). Resin accessories and decalsexist for modelers who want to accurize this kit from companies like Realspace models and New Ware.
Revell re-released this kit twice under their Selected Subjects Program of reissues. The first time was in the early 1990s. The second time was in the year 2000. This particular kit being offered for sale is the 2000 issue. The kit still features all the beautiful boxart found on the originals though and it makes a greatgift for fans of either the actual space programs of science fiction ones. This particular kit is shrinkwrapped and it has been that way since I first purchased it many years ago.Box condition is excellent as it has been stored out of sunlight in a smoke free home.

Preferred shipping method in USA is Priority mail with shipping calculated at sale close (Insurance optional). Preferred International Shipping Method is Priority Mail International . Even for these small items, I am shipping via Priority as opposed to First Class Mail Internationalto provide some added safeguards in case of a lost package. I regret the increase in postage this will cause, but it is a safeguard for you (the customer) and myself, but I see it as the best option. I can use First Class mail if you really want it, but I do not recommend it except to certain countries that I haven'tencountered shipping problems with (Australia, Canada,Great Britain, Franceand Germany). Any questions, please email me before sale close.
Yes, I can combine shipping if you win multiple sales.
