Mid to late 19th century

This rich red and deep cheddar quilt has a beautiful chintz backing with birds on it.

It is hand quilted at 5-6 stitches per inch.

It is hand bound.

Measures 80\" x 77\"

Good condition with a few flaws: spotting, a couple of small seam openings, a tiny, 3/4\" long surface tear,very minor binding wear(See photos.)

Nice and early. Great color for the primitive display!
