Planer works best with the 24v 3.0 amp hour lithium-ion battery or the New 18v 4.0 amp hour lithium-ion battery or the 18v 3.0 amp hour lithium-ion battery or the 18v 2.5 amp hour nicad battery. It will work with the lesser amp hour 18 volters like the max 1.9 nicad or 1.5 li-ion slim batteries but with less run time and therefore weaker performance. These were purchased years ago, I have no current receipt you need for the lifetime warranty. 2006 date code on the planer. My procedure on these is to stick an 18 or 24v battery in it to make sure it powers up and then listen to the motor for a couple seconds. I am using the same pictures to sell these, they are all Brand New. The only difference is the serial number. Also selling the planers new in the box.
