This offers a truly useful notch filter to tune out heterodynes inside the AGC loop, where such filtering is actually useful.It also offers a peaking feature which significantly improves selectivity.
It is tested, works great.
We cleaned the switches and pots, tube sockets.
Cosmetically this radio is very good to excellent.
The front panel is great.
The cabinet is equally nice with only a few minor nicks.
The knobs have a factory shine to them. (I did NOT polish them! They came that way.)
